Hi, My name is Jenna and welcome to Your Healthy Balance!
I am a 20-something, aspiring nutritionist located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Working a full-time job by day, and cooking up a storm by night, for the past 5 years I have been pursuing new ways to share my passion for healthy food and nutrition.
My obsession with nutrition and cooking stemmed from an unhealthy lifestyle throughout my childhood and teenage years. After becoming fed up with this type of lifestyle, and realizing the amazing effects that eating a well-balanced diet can have on your overall health & wellbeing, I never looked back. Fad diets and over-restrictive eating have never worked for me, and they are not a very realistic way of living either. After many years of trying new things, I am happy to say I have found what works best for me.
I hope that this blog inspires you to become the best version of you. I am not here to convince you to eat one way or another, but rather to help you find your own healthy balance.
